On Friday 10th July, our Supported Interns based at Darent Valley Hospital had a Graduation Ceremony to celebrate their incredible achievements!
Â
The event was attended by representatives from Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, Medirest, and The Worshipful the Mayor of Dartford, Councillor Avtar Sandhu MBE.
Â
The mayor took the time to speak with each intern and their families, learning about their journeys so far and their future plans. He also delivered an empowered speech to open the ceremony.
Â
Our Job Coach, Sam Hill, also gave a heartfelt speech, sharing how proud she is of the interns and the progress they’ve made. Certificates were presented by our Principal, Liz Halton, who also said a few words about the progress our young people have made.
Thank you to Medirest, Dartford and Gravesham NHS Trust, DFN Project Search, and The Worshipful Mayor, Councillor Avtar Sandhu MBE, for helping to organise and for attending this event.
