Forward2Employment (F2E) aims to be a community dedicated to enhancing individual development, founded on high professional standards, mutual trust and respect for the essential worth and human dignity of all its members.

The health, safety and well-being of all our young adults are of paramount importance to all the staff who work in our provision. All adults have the right to protection, regardless of age, gender, race, culture or disability. They have a right to be safe in our provision including and within their intern placements.

In our provision, we respect our adults. The atmosphere within Forward2Employment is one that encourages all adults to do their best. We provide opportunities that enable our interns to take and make decisions for themselves.

We recognise that abuse and neglect can result in underachievement. We strive to ensure that all our adults make at least good progress.

Our Aims

We ensure that all our staff are clear about the actions necessary with regard to adult protection issues.

Our aims are:

  • To raise the awareness of all staff, and to identify responsibility for reporting possible cases of abuse;
  • To ensure effective communication between all staff on adult protection issues;
  • To set down the correct procedures for those who encounter an issue of adult protection.
  • To keep our young adults and staff safe from harm.
